About Us

The Restaurant

The Orchard dining experience is set amongst a restored early 1900s terrace house. Paying particular attention to preserving the era's decor, the Orchard’s surrounds strike a balance between antique and modern, with the objective of creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for which enjoyment of our services are maximised. We are comprised of a main dining room which seats up to 28 people, and a private dining room which accommodates up to 20.

The Food

The Orchard’s foundations are based around seasonality. The kitchen is headed by Head Chef Steve Mitchell, who brings a wealth of experience and ambition. Our modern European cuisine is designed to highlight seasonality, produce and quality.

The Wine

Our wine list is designed to create interest, sometimes challenge and always inspire. Our wine list is a living document and changes frequently, creating balance between new and old world, displaying differences in climates and altitudes, as well as countries and borders.

The Team

Owner / Operator Euan Marsh has accumulated many years of restaurant and event management experience. His passion is in left of centre wine and beer, and his ambition for the Orchard is to create one of outer Melbourne’s most respected establishments.
